Lisa trained at a local Werribee school, in all facets of dance before she was accepted into Dance Factory Full Time Performing Arts Course.  She did two years and on the second was on a full scholarship. Lisa has taught all around Melbourne in Primary / Secondary schools including Caulfield Grammar and Methodist Ladies College to name a few. Lisa has taught at some of Melbourne's most elite Full Time Dance Courses including The National Theatre Ballet School and Dance Factory where she taught for 16 years specialising in Jazz and Tap. Lisa’s Professional career has taken her overseas and around Australia. She has worked for Disney Special Events, Conrad and Co, Showtime Attractions, Nickelodeon shows, Mark Edmonds and Magcon Productions, Lisa has performed on some of Australia’s favourite television shows including Neighbours (CH10), Good Morning Australia (CH10), Raw FM (ABC), Pot of Gold (CH 9) Australia Remembers Gala Concert (ABC) and also “A Nice Guy” with Jackie Chan. Lisa has choreographed for various fashion shows and Hair shows including The Australian Fashion Awards, Institute of Textiles and Geelong Hair Expo to name a few.In 2007 until the birth of her second child,  Lisa took on the role of agent for “Dance Factory Agency” booking Performers into such Musicals as Billy Elliot, Dusty The Musical, High School Musical and Cats. Lisa was a lecturer at University of Ballarat, teaching the Musical theatre students their Jazz component. This course has produced most of the leading stars in musical theatre at present.Lisa has adjudicated and examined for many competitions around Victoria including Rural Victoria. She has also examined for the DFTA syllabus for 10 years and several in house examinations. 
Lisa opened 'That Dance Place' in 2001. The rest is history. That Dance Place and her family are her greatest achievements to date.
