Testimonials
We have been part of the TDP family for about 12 years, on the recommendation of a friend, I would like to say I am so truly grateful to have enjoyed so many experiences with my children, the TDP families and the incredible staff. Their professionalism, passion and inclusiveness is why our family take classes there, both my daughter and son have developed more than dance skills in their time at That Dance Place. The great balance of male and female teachers encouraged my son to return to dance. Our children and granddaughter, who began her classes too, have made lifelong friends. That Dance Place has given our children the opportunity to compete, to support their community and to represent our country internationally. Whatever your children’s creative performance curiosity, no matter how big or small, come down and let the children see for themselves. That Dance Place is more than just a dance school.

We've been part of the That Dance Place family for several years now. We love the feeling of family that Lisa has been able to create within the school. Lisa and the staff are very approachable and will go out of their way to help and ensure that all the kids are comfortbale and getting the most out of their classes. Our daughter thinks of the school as a second home and as parents, it's comforting to see the close bonds and support that the students provide each other.

We have found That Dance Place caters for all dancers, whether they want to move on to the big wide world of professional dancing or if they are just doing it for recreation. The teaching staff have so much experience to pass on to their students- professional dancing, teaching and adjudicating. I know my child is in great hands. We have loved every minute of being involved in the TDP family

All I can say is if you are looking for a dance studio, no matter the age (they cover from two years through to adults), give TDP a call, you will not be disappointed. We thought TDP only had older dancers, so we tried somewhere else. My daughter's dancing experience started out heart crushingly. I had signed my little two and a half year old up for dancing elsewhere. when we rocked up for our first class the company was a no show. No communication nothing. A friend recommended TDP. We spoke to the team who were so lovely and apologetic for our experience that morning (though it had nothing to do with them) and we signed my little Miss up for a trial lesson. She was so excited and the tears and upset washed away and a smile returned to her face.
Well, fast forward two and half years and here we are, still dancing at TDP and loving it! Little Miss loves dancing with Miss Madison so much, that as of the start of this year, she is now enrolled in two classes.Every step of the way through our dance journey we have felt supported and nothing has been too much trouble. Even when my daughter was unsure and wanted to cling to me like velcro, Miss Madison and Miss Emma took the time to reassure her, calm her and encourage her. They are and continue to be absolutely wonderful. Lisa (the owner) and her team are really just fabulous!! I remember I was sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my daughter and a dad came in and his daughter's hair was everywhere. He looked at Ros (receptionist) and said "I don't know how to put her hair in a bun". Ros stopped what she was doing and took the time to not only do the girls hair, but talk the dad through it and explained - best pins to use etc. This just made me so happy. It was great to see that the staff just genuinely care for each of their dancers and their families.
Even through the recent times with the whole coronavirus situation, Lisa found a way to rally her team and continue to provide lessons through Zoom and other online sources. Not only that, the team that looks after the Ready Set Dance group went above and beyond and hosted a storytime events twice a week for the littlies. Thank you to Miss Lisa, Miss Madison, Miss Anna and ALL the student helpers that participated in this, my daughter absolutely loved this.
They are friendly, energetic and upbeat. We have never looked back! Corina
